Where will Europe and its economy go following the European Parliament elections last June?
Political policy has an impact on the economy and a new policy means change. What does the (expected) new EU strategy mean for your company? The results of the European Elections last June have an effect on foreign companies in the Netherlands and Dutch companies with international activities. What will the relationships look like? And what new rules do you as an entrepreneur have to take into account? What do the results of the elections mean for economic relations with the United States and what if Donald Trump becomes president again?
For those who do business internationally, knowledge of the political situation is crucial. In order to inform foreign entrepreneurs in the Netherlands about this, the European Chambers of Commerce in the Netherlands (including the NCCC) are organizing a network meeting on September 10, 2024 at the Loyens & Loeff office on the Zuidas in Amsterdam.
We will talk to economic experts about what you as an entrepreneur can expect from the economic future. And there will be a fascinating keynote by journalist Stefan de Vries. He mainly reports on European developments. He is an advocate of far-reaching European integration. De Vries lived in Paris from 1998 to 2020, where he worked as a freelance journalist for RTL Nieuws, VRT and BBC Radio, among others. He currently lives and works in Amsterdam – again as a freelance journalist for BNR, Euronews, Les Echos and BFMTV, among others.
There is also ample opportunity to network. Get in touch with internationally operating entrepreneurs and exchange experiences.
Program 10 September 2024:
