RapidFermTech is a three-week rapid upskilling program to train Fermentation Technicians to fill in-demand positions with companies across Nova Scotia.

The industrial fermentation industry is growing in Nova Scotia, and as such, fermentation skills are highly sought after and enable employees to build inspiring and well-compensated careers.

There are two ways to get involved

Participants

Enrol in the three-week program and receive everything you need to start your fermentation career:

  • Hands-on experience with reactors from 5-1,000 litres
  • Guidance from industry experts throughout the program
  • Professional support for your job search
  • Lasting connections to continue growing your career
  • And more!

Employers

Employers have two paths in the RFT Program that support your growth plan:

  • Enrol an existing employee to fast-track their fermentation skills;
  • Get first access to skilled program graduates who will enhance your workforce.
