With over 60 years of experience and a reputation built on reliability,innovation, and deep technical knowledge, Stigterstaal has grown to become one of Europe’s leading suppliers of high-quality steel plates; particularly for the shipbuilding industry. Headquartered in the Netherlands, this family-owned company now serves shipyards across more than 30 countries.
As Canada rolled out its National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS), Stigterstaal saw a gap and a chance to contribute. The Netherlands Canada Chamber of Commerce played a pivotal role in Stigterstaal’s Canadian journey, providing legal contacts, advice, and connections through their extensive network.
