Mobycon Canada Celebrates 10 Years

May is Dutch-Canadian Heritage Month, and what better time to celebrate Mobycon's 10th anniversary in Canada!

Ten years ago, in May 2015, Mobycon officially opened its doors in Canada, a bold step for a small Dutch consultancy with a big heart and an even bigger mission: to help reduce car dependence by leveraging over 40 years of Dutch knowledge. If cities wanted to become more multi-modal, why not learn from the places in the world that have achieved this? When it comes to world-class cycling, the Netherlands is the place to go. But cycling is one gateway to the integrated multi-modal system that continues to inspire.

To celebrate this milestone, they have kicked things off with a special blog series that highlights voices from across their team and network, featuring project highlights and personal stories. To start the series, they’re featuring an article by North American Director, Elizabeth Allingham. In this first blog, she shares reflections on the early days, the road they’ve traveled, and her hopes for the future.
